Students learn to assemble, upgrade, repair, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers. Includes system installation, component replacement, and preventive maintenance.

Course Duration: 8 weeks, 2 hrs, 3 times a week

Training Location: Beside Boku mart, Okunola bus-stop, Egbeda, Idimu LGA, Lagos State, Nigeria

Course Outline:

Foundations: PC/Laptop components, ESD safety and diagnostic tools.
Assembly & Upgrades: Building systems, BIOS configuration, drives and memory.
Troubleshooting: POST codes, common failures, component swaps and firmware updates.
Repair Techniques: Board-level basics, soldering (intro), and peripheral repair.
Preventive Maintenance: Cleaning, thermal management and lifecycle planning.
Practical Repair Lab & Certification: Diagnostic workflow demonstration and repair completion.
Outcome: Hardware technician, field service engineer, repair shop owner.
