Focuses on power electronics used to control motors and energy systems. Students learn about inverters, converters, and electronic drives used in industries and renewable energy installations.

Course Duration: 3 months, 2 hrs, 3 times a week

Training Location: Beside Boku mart, Okunola bus-stop, Egbeda, Idimu LGA, Lagos State, Nigeria

Training Location 2: Soye building, Sagamu express bus-stop, Sagamu LGA, Ogun State, Nigeria

Course Outline:

Foundations: Power electronics theory, semiconductors and switches.
Converter & Inverter Basics: DC-DC, AC-DC and inverter topologies.
Motor Drives: VFDs, motor control and feedback systems.
Protection & Thermal Management: Heat sinks, cooling and fault protection.
Application & Troubleshooting: Drive tuning, harmonics and efficiency tests.
Lab Build & Assessment: Build a small drive system and demonstrate control.
Outcome: Power electronics technician, drive specialist, renewable integration tech.
