Provides foundational knowledge of computer networking. Students learn about routers, switches, IP addressing, cabling, and network setup for homes and organizations.

Course Duration: 8 weeks, 2 hrs, 3 times a week

Training Location: Beside Boku mart, Okunola bus-stop, Egbeda, Idimu LGA, Lagos State, Nigeria

Course Outline:

Foundations: OSI model, IP addressing, cabling types and basic topologies.
Switching & Routing: VLANs, routing basics, subnetting and ACLs.
Wireless & WAN Essentials: Wi-Fi planning, VPN basics and ISP interfacing.
Network Security & Monitoring: Firewalls, logging, SNMP and troubleshooting tools.
Design & Implementation Project: Design a small business network and implement in lab.
Operational Readiness & Assessment: Documented network build, tests and final exam.
Outcome: Network technician, junior network admin, cabling installer.
