Course Information
Mechanical Engineering IVQs (Industry Vocational Qualifications) are qualifications that provide technical and applied knowledge and skills related to mechanical engineering. These qualifications are industry-specific and provide learners with the ability to apply their knowledge and skills to a range of job roles in the mechanical engineering sector.
They are delivered in both classroom and self-study settings, enabling learners to gain the knowledge, skills and practical experience they need to be successful in a mechanical engineering career.
They are designed to equip learners with an understanding of the different disciplines and expertise in the mechanical engineering sector. Topics of study include materials science, thermodynamics, mechanical design, fluid mechanics, power systems, and many more.
